This Year I hit the ground running. It is only january 5th and it feels like I have lived a full year already. With the online Shamanic classes with my Teachers and community, the every increasing connections being made here in Ottawa and trying to work on my book, keeping up with daily tasks, etc... there is not much time to stop and think, let alone write a blog. But I wanted to take a minute to welcome new readers and invite you to leave your comments. Otherwise I am just talking to myself.
The Sacred Circle implies sharing, giving and giving back. By replying, you helping to make a Sacred Circle where we all are equal.
I want to thank Chris White (of CKCU, 93.1 FM Carleton University Radio) for inviting me to be a guest on his Show, "Friday Special Blend" today. It was my first, but not last, time being on the radio. You can catch the show by logging into their Web page ckcufm.com and look for prior playlist, January 6, 2018.

It was especially great to see Mitra Ghaffari again. She is the one who introduced me to Chris. I had given a presentation at the Foster Farm Community Centre where she is the Event Organizer. The talk was called "Between Worlds: Being Indigenous in Canada". I spoke about my Ancestors and how the Metis People were pushed aside by both Whites and Natives, and how I never really knew what it meant to be Indigenous until I was 40 years old. Needless to say, that is when my life began to make sense. Up until then, I was feeling lost and searching.
The push to become more public is coming from the Ancestors who want me to share the Indigenous wisdom with others. They seem to be creating places for me to do this, working through those who contact me. Spirit works through us all whether we know it or not, taking us to where we need to be for our healing and growth.
The next radio show I will be on is called "Canadian Spaces" and it runs on Saturday, February 3rd, 10 am to noon. if you miss it, you can still find it on the playlist.
I am an introverted and introspective person, more comfortable observing and listening to others or working in small groups. But it is important to speak of some things so that the Ancient wisdom is not lost and because Indigenous teachings are what the world desperately needs today to restore balance.
So stay tuned, leave me a message here in the comments section and we can talk some more.
Blessings on your day!
