I've been writing a lot lately, There is a lot to write about. I am back working on my book, but at a slower pace and for me. It may or may not get published.
Lately I have been exploring what it means to be a Dreamer, to Dream awake and asleep. I am paying more attention to my night dreams, keeping a dream journal and asking questions about my dreams. I am beginning to understand them better and see how they are showing me where I am at in my journey towards wholeness. It is encouraging, but I feel that there is so much more to learn and explore.
When I was a child, I was in the dreaming all the time, now with time, social conditioning and too much mental learning, I lost that connection. Now I have to find other ways to follow my Dreamer, a feeling of being so far from what I know dreaming can be.
What does it mean to dream, to be a Dreamer. To me, it means to listen to Spirit, to see and hear the signs and synchronicities all around me, to see Spirit in all things, knowing there is someone guiding me Home. It is about trusting my Dreamer, trusting myself and being open to the unknown, surrendering to what the universe brings me.
The Medicine Wheel is a tool for dreaming. The dream images show me where I am on the Wheel and what I am working on. The wheel shows me where I need to go and how to get there. It is really amazing to see how it works. It takes time to learn these things, but each step is a new discovery.
The more attention I give to my dreams, the more I ask to be guided, the more I trust and surrender, the quicker and easier my journey will be.
Everyone dreams differently, there are many different levels of dreaming. The thing is to discover your own special style. Spirit talks to us through our dreams.
